COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Former Columbia WR Marcus Peterson chooses McNeese State

Former Columbia receiver Marcus Peterson committed to McNeese State on Tuesday night.

Peterson, a 2020 CHS grad and former 3-star recruit, entered the transfer portal on April 16 after redshirting his one year at Cincinnati. In his two varsity seasons at receiver for Columbia, Peterson caught 60 passes for 784 yards and 12 touchdowns.

As a junior he also played some quarterback for CHS, throwing for 635 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 205 yards and four more scores.
