BOYS BASKETBALL: Fort White splits pair of games at Florida Get Down

    GAINESVILLE — Fort White split its two games at the Florida Get Down at Santa Fe College this weekend.

    Friday saw the Indians (4-3) fall to Hawthorne 63-61 despite 23 points from Kendall Henry and 15 points from Jayden Jackson. The Hornets held on thanks to 19 points from Dacarion Debose and 12 points from Kelvin Baker.

    But Fort White bounced back on Saturday with a 46-44 win over P.K. Yonge behind 22 points from Tafari Moe.

    The Indians are now off until Thursday when they travel to Gainesville for the first of three games in three days, which also includes home games against Santa Fe on Friday and Williston on Saturday.
