BOYS BASKETBALL: Fort White bounces back with win over Lecanto

Fort White bounced back on Saturday, topping Lecanto 79-66 in the Florida Get Down at St. Francis.

Leading the way for the Indians (9-2) was Tafari Moe with 21 points, which included three 3-pointers. Only four other players scored for Fort White but all were in double figures, including Brandon DeMartino with 19, Brady Garrett with 15, Najeeb Smith with 14 and Jayden Jackson with 10.

Braylen Moore led all scorers with 28 points for the Panthers (10-3).

Next up for the Indians is a home matchup against Bradford on Jan. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
