BOYS BASKETBALL: Columbia advances to championship in Hitchcock's Challenge

Columbia defeated Eastside 64-43 in the Hitchcock's Challenge semifinals on Saturday at Legacy Park.

Darrien Jones led the Tigers (10-1) with 15 points while Kenney Gaines scored 11. Jordan Smith and Marcus Peterson each had eight points against the Rams (5-4).

Smith also won the tournament's three-point contest earlier in the day.

Columbia will face Evans in Monday's championship at 6 p.m.
