The task force charged with helping to reopen the Sunshine State for business is seeking input from the public.
Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Task Force to Re-Open Florida has created a form for online public comments.
For convenience, the Lake City Reporter used an address-shortening service to create a shortcut: https://bit.ly/2Y70mL3.
“Public feedback will be a critical component of the Task Force’s final report to Governor Ron DeSantis,” the governor’s office said in a written statement. “All interested Floridians are encouraged to submit their ideas regarding the safe re-opening of Florida’s economy.”
The governor’s stay-at-home order is set to expire April 30. The task force was empaneled to offer recommendations on how the state can safely unfreeze the economy. Executives from both Disney and Universal are among the members.
The task force is made up of business and government leaders, including representatives of the agriculture, tourism, education and healthcare sectors. Meetings can be viewed at thefloridachannel.org.
