Local health officials are organizing a walk-up covid-19 testing event for those who meet the relevant criteria.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, testing will be available at Richardson Community Center for walk-up patients with a referral, according to the Florida Department of Health in Columbia County.
The top priority group includes healthcare facility workers with symptoms. The second priority tier includes symptomatic people 65 and older, symptomatic people with underlying conditions and symptomatic first responders. The third priority group includes symptomatic critical infrastructure workers, individuals who have symptoms but do not fall into any of the other categories and individuals with mild symptoms in communities with high numbers of hospitalizations.
