    MCALPIN — A 9-year-old boy has been reported missing in Suwannee County.

    The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an alert Saturday night that Jaxon Nickerson, who was last seen near the 7000 block of 160th Trail off County Road 252 near McAlpin on Friday.

    The FDLE alert states Jaxon Nickerson may be in the company of Samantha Nickerson, a 36-year-old from Live Oak.

    Jaxon Nickerson has long blonde hair, the alert states, that he wears in a ponytail. 

    Samantha Nickerson has sandy-colored hair and brown eyes. According to the FDLE, she is 5-foot-4 and weighs 125 pounds.
