One man was killed and two others injured in a Thursday night shooting.
According to a Lake City Police Department release, officers on patrol heard gunshots near NW Jefferson Street and NW Florida Avenue around 9:19 p.m. Thursday.
When they responded to the area, the officers found two injured victims, one serious and one minor, the release states. They soon found the third victim, who was dead. All three victims were adult males.
According to LCPD, the two injured victims were taken to area hospitals and are in stable condition.
LCPD’s release said there is no known suspect information available.
LCPD’s Criminal Investigation Division received forensic assistance from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
