One person was flown to an area hospital after a house fire late Monday morning.
According to a Lake City Police Department release, firefighters from the Lake City Fire Department entered the residence on NW Ridgewood Avenue around 11 a.m. and found one person inside. That person was transported to the hospital via helicopter.
The state fire marshal’s office is currently investigating the fire.
The release states that when LCPD officers and LCFD firefighters arrived to the fire, witnesses said there was possibly three people inside. One person told responders they saw someone re-enter the burning dwelling through a bedroom window.
