Parisi
A Lake City police officer died Friday after a medical emergency earlier in the week.
The Lake City Police Department announced Friday evening that Detective Corporal Tim Parisi died Friday afternoon.
According to the LCPD, Parisi experienced a medical emergency Tuesday while at a training conference. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Parisi was brought home to Lake City by a police escort late Friday night.
Funeral service details will be released when they are available.
