A Lake City man was killed Thursday afternoon in a single vehicle crash just northwest of Lake City.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol release, a 60-year-old man was traveling north on Turner Avenue when his car left the roadway near NW Park Drive at 1:31 p.m. Thursday.
The FHP release said the vehicle then struck a tree head-on and the driver died at the scene.
