HURRICANE IAN UPDATE (10 a.m., Friday)
All is back to normal in Columbia County.
The county announced Friday morning that its Emergency Operations Center had returned to a Level Three monitoring level for normal daily operations. It also closed the Citizens Information Center on Friday morning as well.
The county had announced Thursday afternoon that the Board of County Commissioners offices were re-opening Friday with normal operations, including the Columbia County Public Library branches and the county’s parks.
The Columbia County Tax Collector’s office and Property Appraiser’s office are both open as well with limited staff.
