A house in northwest Lake City was struck by gunfire late Tuesday night, according to authorities.
A Lake City Police Department release states officers responded to NW Lee Lane at 10:19 p.m. Tuesday to a report of gunfire.
Three individuals, none injured, from one residence told the officers they heard 15-20 shots fired outside of the home. However, they didn’t see any individuals or any vehicles in the area.
According to the release, one round crashed through a front window of the house and lodged itself in an interior wall.
Officers were unable to locate any other damage or evidence.
