Five male teenagers were shot Monday afternoon in northwest Lake City.
According to the Lake City Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of NW Dixie Avenue and NW Wright Lane at 3:45 p.m. Monday where three juvenile males were found with gunshot wounds.
An LCPD release said the victims were alert and talking but didn’t know who shot them. First aid was administered to the victims who were then transported by EMS.
While on scene, officers were advised of a vehicle now located at the intersection of NW Wilson Street and NW Alabama Terrace which contained more victims of gunshots from the same incident. Three juvenile males were located with the vehicle, two suffering from gunshot wounds.
First aid was also administered to those victims who were then transported by EMS.
According to LCPD, none of the injuries appeared life threatening.
The crime scene was processed by Investigators from the Lake City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division with the assistance of Crime Scene Technicians from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
