BASEBALL

— Suwannee 15, Rickards 0: The Bulldogs (11-4) run-ruled the Raiders (2-9) in four innings on the road Friday night behind a combined one-hitter by Josh Fernald and Peyton Waters. Fernald allowed one hit and a walk with seven strikeouts in three innings, while Waters struck out the side in the fourth. SHS scored 15 runs on just six hits, with Matthew Gill, Tyson Greene, Carston Palmer, Camdon Frier, Hunter Vann, Fernald and Waters each delivering an RBI.

— Bradford 8, Branford 0: The Buccaneers (5-5-1) had just five hits as the Tornadoes (1-10-1) picked up their first win of the season Friday night in Starke. Austin Humphries allowed four earned runs on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts in three innings, while Caden Coker gave up four runs — three earned — on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts in three innings.

SOFTBALL

— Fort White 9, Madison County 8: Ciara Byrd homered and had four RBIs to lead the Indians (7-4) past the Cowgirls (7-5) on the road Friday night. N'Coreyia Atkins also had two RBIs, while Gracie Clemons, Madison Brown and Madalyn Keen each had one RBI. Kadence Compton, who went 3 for 3 with two runs scored, threw a complete game in the circle and allowed seven earned runs on six hits and two walks with nine strikeouts.

— Branford 7, Bell 6: The Buccaneers (10-3) topped the Bulldogs (9-3) on the road Friday night in District 6-1A action.
