Here are Friday's results for baseball softball games in the area, as well as track & field results from Saturday:

BASEBALL

Suwannee 8, West Nassau 2: Carston Palmer went 2 for 3 with three RBIs to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) past the Warriors (0-3) on the road Friday night. Coby Campbell, Matthew Gill and Camdon Frier also drove in one run apiece. Tyson Robinson started on the mound and picked up the win, giving up zero runs on three hits and a walk with six strikeouts in four innings.

Branford 15, Bronson 5: The Buccaneers (2-0) run-ruled the Eagles (0-3) on the road Friday night.

SOFTBALL

Branford 10, Chiefland 7: The Buccaneers (3-0) topped the Indians (1-2) at home Friday night.

TRACK & FIELD

Columbia competed at the Mandarin Mustang Classic on Saturday. Here are the Tigers’ top finishers:
