BASEBALL

— Suwannee 5, North Florida Christian 5: The Bulldogs (3-1-1) tied the game with two runs in the seventh before but left with a tie against the Eagles (3-2-1) on the road when the game was called after eight innings. Grayson Greene went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Jace Moran went 2 for 3 with one RBI, Grayson Bonds went 2 for 4 with an RBI and Logan Brooks also added an RBI for SHS. Greene allowed four earned runs on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts before Brooks limited NFC to one earned run on two hits and a walk with a pair of punchouts.

— Branford 10, Bronson 0: Gavin Barnes tossed a five-inning no-hitter while striking out nine batters to lead the Buccaneers (2-4) to a run-rule win over the Eagles (1-3) on the road. Andres Maysonet and Kyler Williamson each had two RBIs for BHS, which also got an RBI each from Colby Beard, Dawson Cannon and Barnes.

— Bradford 13, Fort White 3: Hayden Adams surrendered five runs in 1 1/3 innings and Aaron Parnell got knocked around for seven more in two innings as the Indians (3-5) were run-ruled by the Tornadoes (4-1) on the road. Carson Capallia had two RBIs while Garrett Depaola also drove in a run for FWHS.

— Newberry 4, Lafayette 0: The Hornets (6-1) were held to just two hits and were shut out by the Panthers (5-1) at home.

SOFTBALL

— Fort White 4, Williston 3: Gracie Clemons had two RBIs, Kadence Compton had another, and the Indians (5-0) held on to edge the Red Devils (5-4) at home. Compton also struck out eight batters in a complete-game effort in the circle, allowing one earned run on five hits and a pair of walks.

— Branford 9, Madison County 4: Ellie Frierson had three RBIs and Gloria Gilliam went 3 for 5 with two runs and two stolen bases to help the Buccaneers (6-2) top the Cowgirls (5-3) on the road. Laila Arnold pitched a complete game for the win, allowing two earned runs on three hits with seven strikeouts.

FLAG FOOTBALL

— Santa Fe 8, Columbia 6: The Tigers (2-2) scored a touchdown in the first quarter but surrendered one in the fourth as they fell to the Raiders (4-2) on the road.
