VOLLEYBALL

— Columbia 3, Bell 0: Sinei Wood delivered 10 kills with three blocks, seven aces and 14 digs to lead the Tigers (15-6) to a 25-13, 25-22, 25-15 sweep over the Bulldogs (14-9) at home Monday on Dig Pink Night. Mylie Fernandez finished with 31 assists to go with three kills, three blocks, three aces and 10 digs, while Autumn Jones added nine kills with an ace and six digs in what was another balanced effort from CHS. Cassidy O’Neal had a team-high six blocks along with eight digs and four kills. Haidyn Markham helped out defensively with 12 digs and she had a pair of aces. Kayla Goodloe slammed eight kills to go with a pair of aces, and Avery Sandlin had four aces, four kills and 10 digs.

— Branford 3, Dixie County 0: Kennedy Walker had 13 kills and six digs while Jadyn Mosley added seven kills with four aces and six digs to lead the Buccaneers (19-4) to a 25-22, 25-11, 25-16 sweep over Bears (10-10) at home Monday on Senior Night for their eighth straight win. Madison Ward and Annabella Dicks also had seven kills apiece, and setter Andi Sabourin passed out 34 assists while Kayley Johnson led BHS defensively with 18 digs to go with a pair of aces and three digs.

— Fort White 3, Trenton 1: The Indians (4-10) edged the Tigers (3-18) in four sets at home Monday night, winning 25-15, 17-25, 25-19, 25-18.

— Suwannee 3, Bradford 2: The Bulldogs (11-11) bounced back after dropping the first two sets to beat the Tornadoes (4-9) on the road Monday night, rallying for an 11-25, 22-25, 25-16, 27-25, 15-12 victory.

GIRLS GOLF

— Columbia 156, Branford 205, Union County 215: Karlee Gainey shot a career-best 3-under 32 on the back nine at Quail Heights for medalist honors and the Tigers combined for a season-low total to top the Buccaneers and UCHS on Monday. Alison O’Brien was 1-under with a 34, while Megan Ruwe had a 41 and Rayna Hardin wrapped up scoring for CHS with a 49. Claire Bond carded a 40 to lead the Bucs, who also got scoring from Bella Hobday (48), Wyllow Davis (57) and Liberty Ward (60).
