VOLLEYBALL

— Lowndes 3, Columbia 1: The Tigers (14-6) saw their 12-match winning streak snapped by the Vikings (14-14) on Thursday night, falling 25-12, 19-25, 25-19, 29-27 on the road. Autumn Jones had 13 kills and 23 digs in the loss, while Sinei Wood had 12 kills and 26 digs. Mylie Fernandez finished with 46 assists to go with four kills and 15 digs, and Cassidy O'Neal added nine kills and five blocks for CHS. Defensively, Martiza Patterson added 15 digs and Haidyn Markham finished with 11 digs. Avery Sandlin also reached double digits in digs with 12 to go along with seven kills and three aces.

— Fort White 3, Madison County 2: The Indians (3-10) edged the Cowgirls (4-9) 21-25, 25-13, 25-17, 18-25, 15-10 on the road Thursday night.

BOYS GOLF

— Buchholz 162, Columbia 167: Despite Connor Williams shooting a 37 for medalist honors, the Tigers lost to Bobcats on Thursday at Ironwood Golf Course. Adyn Petit was the second lowest scorer for CHS with a 42, while Valin Capen shot a 43 and Trenton Kirby carded a 45.

GIRLS GOLF

— Branford 208, Gainesville 257: Claire Bond shot a 41 for medalist honors and the Buccaneers posted four of the five lowest scores in a victory over the Hurricanes on Thursday at Ironwood Golf Course. Bella Hobday finished with a 53 for BHS, while Wyllow Davis carded a 56 and Liberty Ward added a 58.
