CAPE CANAVERAL — NASA’s Orion capsule reached the moon Monday, whipping around the far side and buzzing the lunar surface on its way to a record-breaking orbit with test dummies sitting in for astronauts.

LIVE OAK — The past will come to life through song next month. As part of the Friends of Music concert series, RareSong’s eight musicians will perform at the Covenant First Presbyterian Church, 421 White Avenue SE, in Live Oak. The concert, which is free to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m.
