Two killed in Live Oak crash

LIVE OAK — Two Live Oak men were killed Monday morning when the car they were riding in was hit by a pickup. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a silver sedan was headed west out of Live Oak on U.S. Highway 90 around 5:30 a.m.

LIVE OAK — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 turned into a makeshift runway Friday afternoon in western Suwannee County. A Cessna 152 made an emergency landing on the interstate near mile marker 275 around 4 p.m. Friday, close to the Live Oak and Lee exit. Lt.

ATLANTA — A Lafayette middle schooler is among the nation’s best when it comes to knowing how to run an effective meeting.

LIVE OAK — For the first time in 30 years, Suwannee County is undergoing redistricting. The Suwannee County Commission and Suwannee County School Board meet today at 5:30 p.m. at the school district’s administrative office, 1740 Ohio Ave. S.

Klausner ordered to repay state $3M

A former Suwannee County lumber company has been ordered to repay $3M in state incentives. U.S District Judge Allen Winsor entered a judgment Monday that the state can recoup the incentives the then-Florida Department of Economic Opportunity provided to Klausner Holding USA, Inc.
