ELLAVILLE – A Live Oak man was killed when his vehicle hit a tree late Sunday night in northwestern Suwannee County.
A Florida Highway Patrol report states the 37-year-old man was nearing 193rd Drive on U.S. Highway 90 around 11:30 p.m. on Christmas night when his westbound SUV drove off the road to the left.
Once the SUV got off the road, it ran into a tree, according to the FHP report.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died in the crash.
