Fort White looks to pull off upset against top-ranked Cowboys

Fort White’s stellar season has been building up to tonight’s game. The Indians welcome the top-ranked Madison Cowboys to Arrowhead Stadium for a 7:30 kickoff.
By 10:30, the Indians hope to have the state of Florida talking about Fort White.
Coach Demetric Jackson has been talking to his team all week about the difference between hope and belief. Jackson believes that if his players can go into tonight’s game believing that they will win that half the battle is already overcome.
“They’re a great team,” Jackson said. “They’ve proven they’re great. We talk about being great. We’re a good team, but are we a great team?”
The question will be answered tonight in a game against a team that Jackson greatly respects, and wants to immulate.
“You talk about a program with a lot of similarities to Fort White, and that’s what Madison is. You know there’s not a lot to do in our communities except play football,” Jackson said. “They do it the right way. They don’t run a lot of plays, but they run them to perfection. They’re simple, but they execute.”
One player the Indians will be sure to plan for is Jacobbi McDaniel.
“We’ll respect him,” Jackson commented. “He reminds me a lot of Gerrard Warren. He’s just that dominant. You can double or even triple team him, and he still makes plays. They have some other players on the defense that can really play, but he’s the real deal.”
The Indians have some players of their own that the Cowboys will have to plan around.
Xavier Blake is a guy that can break a game open, and he’s been stepping up in practice this week according to Jackson.
“You have guys like Xavier stepping up this week. Roy (Blake), Desha (Cray), and Montre (Cray) have all been vocal,” Jackson said.
The talk and inspiration ends tonight.
Coach Jackson has been telling his players that it’s not just enough to be on the bus, but that you have to be in the right seat.
The bus arrives at Arrowhead Stadium tonight. Where will the Indians be seated after the game?
